Under Construction :) Come Back SOON! :)

Studio Yaga is a largely functional craft based practice.

Hope Citron is the craftsperson behind the nesting doll. Hope’s home centered studio is nestled in an old farmhouse under a red roof just beyond the boundaries of Helena, MT.

Formerly a wood fired potter, Hope has expanded her craft practice to explore weaving objects for both the home and self. Natural dying, mostly with plants from her home garden, has a large influence in Hope’s textile practice. Montana’s landscape and those who inhabit it are a major source of inspiration as well—nature strikes Hope as the best designer she knows. Hope is coming back around to clay byway of porcelain as she seeks to develop a new fluency in a once largely familiar material. Though she still enjoys the community aspect and ever intoxicating flame of woodfired pottery, she’s enjoying the properties of light that porcelain offers.
